We recently completed a line marking project in a primary school to remark their playground basketball / netball court. If you look closely at some of the pictures you will see some of the lines look a little old and tired. There are two reasons for this:
- The old lines are 75mm thick which are not to Australian Standards of 50mm.
- There are unwanted lines which could be removed or painted over.
There were two options for the headmaster:
- Removing the lines – relatively expensive and normally leave tell-tale marks.
- Covering with black paint – reasonably cheap however when the black paint wears out the old paint is still there and the problem reappears.

After discussion with the headmaster it was decided to leave the lines there and let them fade away with time.
If you need any playground or court markings done please give us a call and we will be happy to share our wealth of experience with you and have a no-obligation discussion about what would be the best option(s) for you.

Here’s a line marking job we did recently for a shopping centre in Tooronga.

We helped a shopping centre in Berwick improve the safety of their delivery bay with new line markings. This involved laying down some bright yellow markings to help drivers reverse into place, clear safety markings to show where people should not go and painted numbers indicating meters from the dock along the edge of the bay so drivers could see how far from the delivery dock they were.

We helped a shopping centre in Glenferrie improve the safety of their delivery bay. The existing markings had worn away and no longer offered any safety or direction to people who used the bay.

This custom stencil job shows how smart you can make you car spaces look. We produced a custom stencil to identify all the car park bays for one of our customers.
